General Accounting Policy

The General Accounting Policy governs the accounting and financial reporting of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in accordance with the generally accepted accounting priniciples of Fund Accounting as prescribed by the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

The policy was adopted on June 29, 2021 and is now accessible on the University's Policies website.
